Custody confirmation only. Purity, assay certification, grade specification, storage bay and depositor reference are confidential terms held between Kalula Security Company, the depositor and authorised counterparties under the Custody Agreement. They are deliberately excluded from public verification.
Metals & Minerals Benchmark Prices
Benchmark figures are indicative and provided for reference only. They do not constitute a valuation, an offer, or a commitment to purchase or sell. Settlement pricing is agreed separately between counterparties.
How Verification Works
Enter the reference
Type the reference printed on the Safe Keeping Receipt you received. Every reference is unique and issued once only.
Registry lookup
The custody registry is queried in real time and returns the commodity class, quantity and current custody status.
Cryptographic proof
A SHA-256 digest of the receipt is anchored at issuance. The hash and timestamp cannot be altered or backdated.
Present to your bank
Share the verification link or QR code with your bank, buyer or broker so they can confirm the holding independently.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why are purity and assay details not shown here?
Assay results, purity, grade specification and storage location form part of the commercial terms between the depositor and their counterparty. Publishing them would expose confidential trade information. This portal confirms custody; the receipt holder discloses specifications directly to the parties entitled to see them.
What does an "Active" status mean?
Active confirms the commodity is presently held under custody, the receipt has not expired, and no release instruction has been executed. Expired, Released and Suspended statuses are each displayed explicitly with the relevant date.
How do I know the record has not been altered?
At issuance a SHA-256 digest of the receipt is written to a public blockchain. Because the anchor timestamp is fixed at that moment, any later alteration to the underlying record would produce a different digest and fail to match the anchored hash.
My reference was not found. What should I do?
Re-check the reference for transcription errors first — confusing 0 with O, or 1 with I, is the most common cause. If it still returns no record, do not proceed with any payment or transfer. Contact Kalula Security Company immediately using the address below.
Can a bank rely on this verification?
The portal is designed to be used as an independent confirmation step alongside the original signed receipt. Banks requiring formal confirmation under documentary credit terms should contact the custody desk directly for a countersigned statement.
